Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, new Arsenal signing

List of done deals at end of EPL January winter transfer window

The January 2018 transfer window opened on 1 January 2018 and will close at 23:00 GMT today, 31 January 2018. On this final day of winter transfer dealing, all the latest signings are included as they are made by the 2017-18 season's 20 clubs. The list of completed transfers below is correct as of 12:05 GMT, 31 January. Here are the top transfer-related rumors on Wednesday before the cutoff deadline today.

Breaking news, France striker Oli Giroud has moved across London to join Chelsea, having netted 105 goals in 253 appearances during his time with us. Oli scored some spectacular goals in an Arsenal shirt, including his scorpion kick against Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day 2017. Giroud received a Fifa Puskas Goal of the Year for possibly the finest goal ever seen at Emirates Stadium. Oli was a key player in Arsenal’s three Emirates FA Cups, scoring in their 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the 2015 final. And he scored the winning penalty against Chelsea in last year’s Community Shield victory at Wembley.

“Oli is a guy who gave great service to the club, he never let us down on the commitment front and he saved us many times,” said Arsene Wenger. “We signed him from Montpellier and he became a strong, regular international player for France, and we have gone together through good and bad. But always I believe that his behavior has been top, top class. He always had his heart 100 percent in the team and he was committed.”

Chelsea have agreed today to a £18million fee for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud, according to reports. France striker Olivier Giroud came off the bench at Swansea City in Arsenal’s Premier League game on Tuesday. Gunners manager Arsene Wenger was asked after the defeat at the Liberty Stadium if Giroud will still be an Arsenal player when the transfer window closes on Wednesday and if it was unusual for Giroud to play the day before he may leave the club?

“That will all be decided Wednesday, you know. As usual, things happen on the final day,” replied Wenger. “It’s a tribute to Olivier, yes. He is a guy who gave great service to the club, he never let us down on the commitment front and he saved us many times. I have absolutely no doubt that when I ask him if he is ready to commit and he says yes, I have no problem with that. That is why I put him on, because it was needed and unfortunately he couldn’t help us. Yes. I have personally, of course, taken him from Montpellier and he became a strong, regular international player for France and we have gone together through good and bad. But always I believe his behaviour has been top, top class and the respect is more linked to that than to all the rest. Look, at the minute, I don’t want to talk too much about where he goes, if he goes. That will be definitely decided. Nothing is concluded at the moment. Olivier is an Arsenal man and after that he needs to play as well. He has not played many games in the Premier League since the start of the season and he is a regular player in the French national team. There is a World Cup where France will go, the places are of course very difficult to get and at some stage it was a difficult situation for him. But he always had his heart 100 per cent in the team and he was committed.”

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is backed to secure World Cup 2018 spot after West Brom loan move. Tottenham Hotspur are close to completing the signing of Lucas Moura from PSG. Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing Monaco star Thomas Lemar. French club Bordeaux are in talks to sign former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, after missing out on Diafra Sakho. Italy Serie A club Roma are interested in Man United defender Daley Blind and have made contact with United, who want close to what they paid for the Holland international, who joined them from Ajax for £13million in 2014. Man City will have to come up with £70m to land Riyad Mahrez before tonight’s transfer deadline. Leicester City have rejected an initial bid of £50m for Mahrez and have told Etihad bosses to meet their valuation or forget about signing the Algerian ace. Everton expects to complete the signing of Eliaquim Mangala from Manchester City on Deadline Day. Mangala arrived from Porto in 2014 for a fee of £32m, and would join the Toffees on a loan deal. Leeds United want to sign Tyler Roberts from West Bromwich Albion in a deal worth up to £4million. Roberts has attracted interest after a loan spell with League One Walsall, where he scored 5 goals in 17 games and West Brom are prepared to sell due to the 19-year-old having 6 months left on his contract. Southampton have had a club-record £25million bid for Spartak Moscow forward Quincy Promes turned down. Swansea City continues to close in on a record deal to bring West Ham forward Andre Ayew back to the Liberty Stadium on deadline day. Wolfsburg are trying to persuade Liverpool midfielder Lazar Markovic to join them ahead of Swansea.

Here is a list of all the moves by football players in and out of all the 20 English Premier League clubs
