UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEEK 1 SCHEDULE & RESULTS

Manchester City postponed their Champions League group match against Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach due to adverse weather at Etihad Stadium, the game has been rescheduled to Wednesday at 19:45 BST. The Group C game was cancelled due to heavy rain, thunder and lightning that blasted Manchester on Tuesday evening. Going into the match, City have a 100% win rate under new manager Pep Guardiola this season to date. In a statement given to the media, City said localized flooding led to a decision being made on "safety and security grounds". Following the announcement, Monchengladbach's players walked out to applaud their fans.
