Europa League final tickets @

LIVERPOOL TO CLASH WITH SEVILLA IN UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL IN BASEL still has great 2016 Europa League Final tickets for Liverpool v Sevilla on May 18th in Basel, Switzerland.

Pride, passion, and belief are key to Liverpool's strategy that has taken them to the Europa League Final.

Klopp who has taken his new team to two cup finals this season, had nothing but praise for his Liverpool side.

"Wonderful night, brilliant game from my side. What a performance. The first half an hour was a big emotion! It was great!”, exclaimed Klopp. “The last 15 minutes of the first half we lost patience. The second-half plan was to keep going with the emotional football but using the brain a bit more and in the end, brilliant.”

"Everyone spoke a lot about this team before I came here. It was all about quality and not good transfers. I came here because I thought they had a nice squad and now we are in the final."

Klopp’s Liverpool side overturned a first-leg deficit to beat Spanish La Liga titans Villarreal in the semi-finals.

Liverpool manager Klopp said he could find "30 million people who want to see the game".

"It is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to play this final but we cannot change the stadium so we cannot think about this," added Klopp. "I have been to Basel one or two times, it is a wonderful stadium and a wonderful city.

"I don't know what it means that it is nine years between Liverpool's last final," said Klopp. "A lot of teams want to go to finals, it is not too easy, but it is a real opportunity and we will take the opportunity."

Liverpool intends to "take the opportunity" when the Reds clash with holders Sevilla in the final of the Europa League, says manager Klopp.

The Reds lost the first leg of their semi-final tie 1-0 to Villarreal and went on to an impressive display in their second leg at Anfield on Thursday to win 3-1 on aggregate.

Going into their match with Villarreal, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp asked his men to play with emotion to pay tribute to the 96 victims of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster in Sheffield.

An embarrassing own goal by Villarreal captain Bruno Soriano under pressure from Sturridge, and second-half strikes from both Daniel Sturridge and Adam Lallana gave Liverpool the victory over Spanish opponents Villarreal and put the Reds through to the final.

Villarreal have already reached the Champions League next season by securing 4th place in the Spanish La Liga.

Twenty-six year old Daniel Sturridge who started on the bench in the first leg, and was named to the starting XI in the second leg, was key to Liverpool’s success as he scored one goal and was involved in the others. Sturridge has scored in four of his past five appearances at Anfield in all competitions.

Sturridge had a "great game .. great game", said Klopp. "When Daniel Sturridge is fit he is an unbelievable striker, but even he needs players to play with and I know about his quality, I knew before I came here. Great player."

Daniel Sturridge was jubilant and grateful after scoring Liverpool’s winning goal.

“The fans were top class and for the boys, it was about soaking up the atmosphere and putting in a performance. We had to work our socks off but we got the result we needed,” said Sturridge. ‘I’m grateful to God for all that I’ve been blessed with and in football there’s always going to be ups and downs. It’s about putting your body on the line.”

“If you don’t take shots, you don’t score. Scoring goals for me is a great feeling. We like to press and we like to be in opposition faces.”

"There will always be ups and downs in football. It is about being prepared to put your body on the line and take chances. It is a great feeling," added Sturridge.

Villarreal ended the game with 10 men after Victor Ruiz was sent off.

"When you perform like we did then you want to have it all and that is what we will try," said Klopp. "We will go there and try to do everything for this wonderful club."

Liverpool has won 8 out of the 11 European finals they have competed in: 5 of 7 Champions League trophies, and 3 of 3 Europa League trophies.

Sevilla have won the Europa League trophy for 2 years in a row, more than any other club. The winner of the Europa League Final will earn a place in the 2016 – 2017 season.

The Europa League Final match for the silverware at St Jakob-Park in Basel will be the Reds first European final since losing 2-1 to AC Milan in the Champions League in 2007.

With Jurgen Klopp in charge, there is a notable positive change in the Liverpool squad’s energy levels in general, and something special going on with individual players.

"In 2016, the team have shown a lot of times what they could be capable of in the future so that's a good sign and that is more important for me as a manager," said Klopp. "There's special times ahead. It's almost like they are unbeatable here. It's becoming a fortress."

Going into the last games of the season, Liverpool are in 8th place with 55 points.

Liverpool, Champions League winners in Istanbul against AC Milan in 2005 and 18 times England Premier League winners, are fighting their way back up to the top of the EPL table.

Klopp’s side lost on penalties to Manchester City in the League Cup final in February in Klopp's first cup try for a trophy with the Reds.

Liverpool next host Watford in the Premier League on Sunday aiming to secure a place in the 2016 - 2017 Europa League. The Reds are 9 points and 19 goals behind 4th place Manchester City in the Premier League. Liverpool will qualify for the Champions League next season if they win the Europa League Cup – an amazing show for Klopp in his first campaign in charge.

Through the years, the Liverpool side have been fiercely competitive and brought great glory and honor to their club and fans.
