ARSENAL WIN CRUCIAL 3 POINTS TO MOVE UP TO 3RD ON PREMIER LEAGUE LADDER
Arsenal 1 - 0 Norwich
Arsenal and England forward Danny Welbeck slammed home a second-half volley at 59 minutes putting Arsenal back up to third on the England Premier League Table, delighting Gunners fans and veteran club manager Arsene Wenger with a victory Saturday afternoon at the Emirates on the occasion of Wenger’s 750th Premier League match.
Goal! Arsenal 1-0 Norwich (Welbeck 59)
Assisted by Giroud, Welbeck netted an 18-yard shot that hit the heel of Bassong and deflected into the bottom corner.
A few fans drew attention to the fact that it has been 12 years since the Gunners last won the England Premier League title, but the majority of supporters sang Wenger’s praises.
Welbeck came on in the 56th minute introduction for Alex Iwobi and was met with emphatic jeering and boos. However three minutes later he had opened the scoring for Arsenal when Olivier Giroud brought down Hector Bellerin's cross.
