"I was born old, I will die young," remarked thirty-four-year-old superstar striker Zlatan Ibrahimović when asked how he is doing at PSG.

Titan Premier League Manchester City host PSG after a 2-2 first-leg draw in Paris in the UEFA Champions League Quarter-finals as both clubs hope to secure a spot in the Semi-finals with a win at Etihad Stadium.

Ibra plans be at his absolute peak as a player and to make football history with Paris Saint Germain at City.

“Every time we aim to go further, but so far we haven't gone further. And it's the same thing this year, we will try to go further. The Champions League is like that, you never know, you cannot predict what's going to happen. You can always do your best, but what will happen is difficult to predict. You can always wish, but you need to put in the performances in the two games you play. We are a better team this season. And we have more experience this season, so the club – no, not the club, but the new team, let's say, that was reborn a couple of years ago – is more used to the quarter-finals.”

Zlatan was asked how he feels about his performance this season.

“I am enjoying it, I am enjoying it a lot, because there were many discussions before this season. Many, many talks and now I don't hear people talking any more. I see them enjoying it instead. So that is what I do, I enjoy myself and I give the people happiness and let them enjoy it,” said Ibrahimovic. “I have never been better. The way I feel today is the best I have ever been. I was born old and I will die young. That is how it looks.”

I appreciate it, yes, because I think everything is in your head. It's a mental thing. You are as young and fresh as you think you are. And that is what I have proved this season, by doing the things I am doing” continued Ibra. “So the age is just a number. You are as young as you think you are in your head. Your head decides how young you are and how old you are. So this year I decided I am very young.”

Ibra said he loves winning trophies!

I play for trophies; whatever trophy I can win, I will do everything in my power, in my sacrifice, to win it. Absolutely. So if we can win it, we want to win it. The players on the pitch want to win everything. That's why we are here, to train, to focus, to prepare and to do it. So let's see.”

Manchester City defeated West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, Manchester City giving confidence to City ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg against the French Champions. City have valuable away goals as Laurent Blanc’s side arrive at Etihad Stadium after the 2-2 draw in Paris.

Samir Nasri, who will not be part of City’s Champions League squad, warned his mates about the French champions.

“It’s going to be a dangerous game,” said Nasri. “We have the advantage, but I know Paris and the way they played against us, I think they were on an off day. They made a lot of mistakes technically, that’s not the way they play.”

Nasri said City should not relax just because they have the advantage.

“When you have the advantage you don’t know what to do, if you have to attack or to defend, and don’t know how to play this kind of game. I know the lads are really hungry and it’s an opportunity to go into the top four of the best teams in Europe. So I know we are going to do a game that we need to be in the semi final,” said Nasri.

“Last week we were fed up,” said PSG boss Laurent Blanc.. “The players were fed up. The fans were fed up. The second goal we conceded irritated me somewhat. But that’s football.”

‘Therapy is a big word,” continued Blanc. What we have been through during the last week has not been particularly therapeutic. We know we didn’t play a perfect game but also we know we haven’t been dominated. In fact we probably dominated them. If we create as many chances this time then we will score more goals, I think.”

Man City v PSG Potential Squads

Manchester City (4-2-3-1): Hart; Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Clichy; Fernando, Fernandinho; De Bruyne, Toure, Silva; Aguero
Paris St-Germain (4-3-3): Trapp; Aurier, Silva, Marquinhos, Maxwell; Rabiot, Motta, Verratti; Di Maria, Ibrahimovic, Cavani

Paris Saint Germain manager Laurent Blanc is happy that his talented side have won the French Ligue 1 title again this year, and have reached the quarter-final for the third time. But PSG have never won the Champions League silverware.

"It's true that we've reached the quarter-finals three times. I understand the immense expectation, but if we reach the semi-finals, there will be expectation for the final,” said Blanc. "And it won't stop until the day Paris Saint-Germain win the European Cup. That's a certainty, with or without me.

"As long as PSG haven't won the European Cup, there will be an expectation and everyone will be under pressure - last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, final,” added Blanc. "You have to win the final because the project of the club is to win the European Cup. But we also have to show progress and tomorrow we have a chance to confirm that progress."
