World Cup 2014 Brazil - Group Stage Qualifiers Winners

There are seven European teams who will compete in Brazil.

European teams qualifying for World Cup 2014 are Belgium, Italy, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia, England, Spain. (Plus four from play-off teams - Croatia, Sweden, Romania, Iceland, Portugal, Ukraine, Greece, France).

The draw for the World Cup 2014 play-offs is set for Monday.

Here is an update on Group Stage World Cup 2014 competition leaving winners who will go on to Brazil and runners- up who will compete in the play-offs.

Group A

Belgium 1-1 Wales
Scotland 2-0 Croatia

Belgium,who had qualified automatically, were held to a 1-1 draw by Wales.

Croatia, who were already guaranteed second place, were beaten 2-0 by Scotland. As a result of Croatia's loss, manager Igor Stimac turned in his resignation.

"Never mind that we qualified for the play-offs, I want to show some morale, certain responsibility and if there is anyone in the federation that does not believe in my work I want to give them the chance to change. They will have a meeting to discuss it," Stimac said.

Group B

Italy 2-2 Armenia
Denmark 6-0 Malta

Italy, who had already won the group, defeated Armenia in Naples with goals from Alessandro Florenzi and Mario Balotelli gaving them a 2-2 draw - and they ended their qualifying campaign unbeaten.

Bulgaria's home defeat by the Czech Republic allowed Denmark to overtake them and finish second, with a 6-0 win over Malta.

Group C

R. of Ireland V Kazakhstan
Germany 5-3 Sweden

Germany, already group winners, clinched a thrilling 5-3 win over Sweden, who were already secure in their play-off place.

The Republic of Ireland finished fourth after beating Kazakhstan 3-1.

Group D

Romania 2-0 Estonia
Turkey 0-2 Netherlands

Ciprian Marica scored twice to give Romania a 2-0 win over Estonia and won a play-off place ahead of Turkey.

Turkey were beaten 2-0 in Istanbul by the Netherlands. The Dutch finished nine points clear at the top, with nine wins and a draw from their 10 games.

Group E

Switzerland 1-0 Slovenia
Cyprus 0-0 Albania
Norway 1-1 Iceland

Switzerland clinched their World Cup spot as they beat Slovenia 1-0.

Iceland reached the play-offs.

Group F

Russia 1-1 Azerbaijan
Portugal 3-0 Luxembourg
Israel 1-1 Northern Ireland

Russia won the group in Baku, drawing 1-1 with Azerbaijan under Russian coach Fabio Capello.

Portugal, who beat Luxembourg 3-0 without the suspended Cristiano Ronaldo, will be in next month's play-offs.

Northern Ireland drew 1-1 with Israel and finished fifth.

Group G

Bosnia-Hercegovina 1-0 Lithuania
Greece,1-0 Liechtenstein

Bosnia-Hercegovina beat Lithuania to book their place in Brazil.

Greece beat Liechtenstein 1-0 to reach the play-offs.

Group H

England 2-0 Poland
Ukraine 8-0 San Marino

Marko Devic scored a hat-trick as Ukraine destroyed San Marino 8-0 to reach the play-offs after England beat Poland 2-0.

Group I

Spain 2-0 Georgia
France 3-0 Finland.

Spain battled Georgia resulting in a comfortable 2-0 win. The world champions' goals came from Man City striker Alvaro Negredo and Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque said, "We had a few problems against the lesser teams but we also showed our strength against a powerful France side (who they beat 1-0 in Paris in March).

"We almost, almost found ourselves losing out to them in the group but we came through with flying colours."
