Celtic boss Neil Lennon has been given a three-match touchline ban after being found guilty of swearing and misconduct during Celtic's 1-1 draw with St Mirren on March 31.

The ban, carried over from last season, came into action after a disciplinary tribunal found Lennon had breached Disciplinary Rule 203 in his use of offensive language towards St Mirren captain Jim Goodwin.

Lennon will be in the stands for FC Celtic's matches against Motherwell, Ross County and St Johnstone.

Neil Lennon is a former pro footballer from Northern Ireland. He is the manager and former captain of Celtic, and is currently the longest continuous serving manager in the Scottish Premier League.

Lennon will be on the pitch for his weekend's clash with Inverness as Lennon has five days to appeal the ban.
