Europa League - Ajax 0-2 Manchester United

With a strong second half Man Utd came away from their first Europa League match with a 2-0 away victory against Ajax in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 first leg match between Ajax and Manchester United at Amsterdam Arena on February 16, 2012 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Ajax had a strong start in the first half, but couldn't find a breakthrough.

Man United's defense and David De Gea did their part to keep it 0-0 heading into halftime.

Ashley Young found the breakthrough for the visitors in the 59th minute, following a corner kick.

'Chicharito' Javier Hernandez scored the clincher for United, netting his first goal in Europe this season and his ninth goal in all competitions.
