Premier League Update - Premiership Tickets

Manchester United

Premier League Fixtures - Saturday Dec 10th

Saturday's busy day of fixtures include Arsenal v Everton, Bolton v Aston Villa, Liverpool v QPR, Manchester United v Wolves, Norwich v Newcastle, Swansea v Fulham and West Brom v Wigan.

Swiss side Basel knocked United out of the Champions League competition. Manchester United's failure to qualify for the Champions League knockout phase was catastrophic for manager Sir Alex Ferguson and his squad.

In addition, Fergie got some devastating news - Nemanja Vidic will probably be out for up to a year after the Manchester United captain damaged three major ligaments in his right knee.

United's many injured players and their Champions League exit set back their moral and the club's financial forecast. But the Red Devils will have to step up and win today - since a defeat against the Wolves may be catastrophic to their title hopes.

Half-way through the season, Manchester City is in first, Manchester United is in second, Tottenham Hotspur is in third, Chelsea in fourth and Arsenal in fifth and Liverpool in seventh.
