Champions League Matchday 3 Results – Wednesday Oct 19th

Chelsea FC boss Andre Villas-Boas believes Fernando Torres has finally rediscovered his confidence after the Spain striker scored twice in the second day of Matchday 3 in the Champions League competition yesterday.

An impressive brace was scored by Torres, who also played a part in Salomon Kalou's goal during a resounding 5-0 victory against Genk.

Aaron Ramsey's late Arsenal goal against Marseille pushed the Gunners to the top of Group F - earning the 1-0 victory against the Ligue 1 club.

Also in Group F, Barcelona won 2-o over Plzeň and Olympiacos defeated Dortmund 3-1.

Andre Schurrle strongly contributed to lifting Bayer Leverkusen four points ahead of opponents Valencia in Group E, scoring a precise first-time shot in their 2-1 win.
