Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s investment in English premiership club Manchester City exceeds $1 billion.

Sheikh Mansour, who is a member of Abu Dhabi’s ruling Al-Nahyan family, is worth £20 billion.

Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov is second in the list with a personal wealth of £12.6 billion.

QPR’s Lakshmi Mittal, Indian steel magnate,  has a fortune of £11.8 billion ahead of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich on £10.8 billion.

David Beckham remains the wealthiest player on the list. Beckham's personal worth is reportedly £135 million.

Manchester United's Michael Owen, Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney also sit in the top 50.

England boss Fabio Capello’s reported fortune of £38 million maks him the wealthiest manager.
