Budweiser Player of the Round - First Round Qualifying

Budweiser Player of the Round

First Round Qualifying

Five players will be nominated after every FA Cup weekend, up to the Semi-Final.

The footballer with the most votes will be crowned ‘Budweiser Player of the Round’ and will receive a commemorative trophy to mark the achievement.

The first five players are listed below, following their performances in the First Round Qualifying.

Voting closes at 12 noon (BST) on Tuesday 27 September

Baff Addae, Maidstone United
Making his debut for new club Maidstone, the striker had a dream start to his career with the Kent club as he netted a hat-trick and helped set-up three more in his side’s comprehensive victory over Banstead Athletic.

Max Etheridge, Swindon Supermarine
It’s fair to say the pressure was on, as Supermarine striker Max ran out to face Cirencester Town and his brother Tom. With both parents watching and his other brother Harry as a team-mate, Max scored two goals to set Supermarine on their way to a 3-2 victory and the Second Round Qualifying.

Anthony Malbon, Newcastle Town
The striker scored all five for Newcastle Town in their 5-5 draw with Stratford Town. He notched two of those in a productive two-minute spell.

Adam Greenways, Beckenham Town
Bagged a brace in the first seven minutes to send Beckenham Town on their way to a 4-2 victory against Metropolitan Police, a side who play two levels higher.

Gary Jones, Harrow Borough
Jones plays as a full-back, but scored both of Harrow Borough’s goals in their 2-0 win over Marlow.
