Spurs Update

Harry Rednapp, Tottenham Hotspurs Manager

Last campaign, Harry Redknapp secured fourth place for the Spurs in 2010. He remarked that Spurs were two or three top players away from competing at the highest level of the Premier League.

Over the summer, the Spurs have kept Gareth Bale and  Rafael Van der Vaart – both will have a lot expected of them in the coming season. Brad Friedel has been signed.

Tottenham may lose Luka Modric to Chelsea. They are holding out on Croatian midfielder but may take the £35 million currently being offered and rebuild other areas of the squad that are in desperate need.

Spurs players average around £40,000 a week with their wages.

With Peter Crouch set to leave, they desperately need a boost of power.

Today’s match has been cancelled due to violence in London.
