Man Utd recently defeated Manchester City in the Community Shield – also referred to as the Manchester Derby.

Manchester United stormed back from 2-0 down to beat rivals Manchester City 3-2 due to a late strike from Nani. The match marked the debut of new goal-keeper, David De Gea.

United dominated the early stages of the match.

Wayne Rooney, Nani and Ashley Young combined to make an awesome attack on their rivals.

City was ahead 1-0 ahead after 38 minutes. Having dominated the first period, United entered half-time surprised by their 2-0 deficit.

Ferguson’s responded with three changes at half-time and within six minutes of the restart, United had scored a goal.

Smalling scored to cut the deficit to 2-1.

The equaliser was provided by Nani.

United went on to dominate the second period.

 The winner for United came deep into injury-time when Nani secured the victory for United.
