LA Galaxy faced Manchester City recently and is set to face Man United today.

The Galaxy played Manchester City to a draw through regulation and extra time, eventually losing by 6-7 in penalty kicks.

As one of the MLS representative teams in the World Football Challenge, the Los Angeles Galaxy faced Manchester City at the Home Depot Center July 24.

It was the last fixture featuring an MLS team in the challenge, except for the All-Star match.

The fan-voted best players in the MLS will take on the Red Devils of Manchester United on July 27.

The rest of the World Football Challenge features three fixtures involving FC Barcelona, the highlight being the July 30 rematch of the Champions League Final with Manchester United.

Manchester United won 7-0 thumping Seattle Sounders July 20, in front of 67,052 fans.
