Georgios Samaras scored twice to give Celtic a 2-0 Old Firm derby victory that extends their lead at the top of the table to four points over champions Rangers.
Two goals from Greek forward Georgios Samaras gave Celtic the three points, and means they have a four point lead at the top of the table.
A pregame tribute was paid on the 40th anniversary of the Ibrox disaster, where 66 people were killed at an Old Firm game.

The first half remained goalless.

Celtic took the lead in the 62nd minute when Samaras scored a goal. Celtic doubled the lead from the penalty spot eight minutes later. The former Manchester City striker got up to blast home the penalty and spark manic celebrations among the visiting fans.

The Rangers could not score, and Celtic held on for a stunning 2-0 win.
