Manchester City vs Everton

The Manchester City vs Everton fixture will go ahead as planned tonight at City of Manchester Stadium despite adverse weather conditions that have caused the postponement of other Premier League matches.

Man City’s manager Roberto Mancini has asked fans not to concentrate their energy against Carlos Tevez for his recent comment. Tevez has publicly declared his desire to quit Eastlands for Spain. Mancini appointed Tevez as Manchester City’s captain at the beginning of the season.

Roberto Mancini wants Manchester City fans to push the club to victory against the Toffees.

“We must forget about all this with Tevez because we have to focus on the next game,” said Mancini. "It is important for us to be focused on Everton, and the supporters must focus on Everton and nothing else, because the next 20 days will be very important. Hopefully, the fans can continue to support the team like they’ve done in other times.”

Carlos Tevez secured all three points for Manchester City the last time he featured for the Sky Blues on Dec 4th.
