Mark Hughes’ Fulham Team v Hughes’ former Side Man City

Mark Hughes

Fulham v Manchester City Sunday, November 21, 2010

Mark Hughes’ reign as Fulham manager began with a goalless draw at Bolton on the opening day of the Premier League season.

Mark Hughes’ Fulham team will host Hughes’ former side in a battle for all three points at Craven Cottage on Sunday. Hughes was unceremoniously fired from City and if there is any match that he will want to win this season, it is this one and he will have his troops fired up.

Fulham have drawn eight of their thirteen matches so far. They have lost three and won two of the other five games played and they sit just a point above the relegation zone.

Man City goes into this game unbeaten in their last three games and not having conceded a goal in the last 300 minutes of Premier League football. Prior to this run they were beaten by Wolves away and Arsenal at home.

In fact their recent away form has not been too great and they have only beaten West Brom, Blackpool and Wigan on the road, with two of their three goals against Blackpool very controversial.

Last season saw Man City won 2-1 away and they have not lost in the three previous games against Fulham at Craven Cottage. Fulham last beat City at home in 2005, but since then they have had a lot of money injected into the squad.

Fulham tickets are for sale online. Great seats are still available.
