Ajax's Nicolas Lodeiro Out for 3 Months With Broken Bone

Ajax will have to play without 20 year-old Nicolás Lodeiro for three more months after the Uruguay midfielder broke a bone during training in the same right foot that he injured during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

He played in a reserve match last Monday and had returned to training but will have to sit out the remainder of Ajax's UEFA Champions League group stage campaign.
Manager Martin Jol's team currently ranks third in Group G on four points.

Siem de Jong and Vurnon Anita have recovered from hamstring and calf injuries respectively. They were able to play in last Sunday's 2-2 Eredivisie draw.

Goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg was injured in the match with Eredivisie and is set for further tests.
