Gunners Hit by Diaby Injury Setback

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled French midfielder, Abou Diaby out of Arsenal's Champions League opener.

Bolton's Paul Robinson had a "bad tackle" on Diaby which went unpunished on Saturday and the FA have decided not to take any retrospective action.

Arsenal boss Wenger says Diaby was left "angry and rocked" by the tackle on the same ankle which he injured at Sunderland in 2006 and nearly ended his career. Diaby is out for an undisclosed time.

Arsenal's Champions League plans have been badly set back because of their growing injury list.
