Nani, Manchester United
Manchester United 4-4 Newcastle
Man Utd has only themselves to blame for letting Newcastle catch up from being two points back last weekend. United with go into Monday's clash with Manchester City with the pressure on, knowing that they must win the match and one more to secure the Premiership top spot.
'There is anger from the players,' said Nani.
'The concentration was not the best in the last few minutes - that's why they were able to create chances and score goals.
'We had a lot of possession and played some fantastic football in attack. But we conceded too many goals and we're not happy about that.'
'Of course,' said Nani, when asked whether United can still secure a 20th league title.
'We have to keep believing in our qualities because we still have a great opportunity to win the title.
'It's a huge game at City - there will be a fantastic atmosphere there.
'It will be a difficult game, but if you want to win the league you cannot think about the atmosphere or the opponents, we must just think about the way we play and try to win the game.'

Wayne Rooney, Manchester United
Wayne Rooney #2 Goalscorer in Premier League
Wayne Rooney says it was a 'dream come true' to net two rapid goals in Manchester United's 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Roo scored his 16th and 17th Premier League goals of the campaign to help Sir Alex Ferguson's club return to the top of the table, even if it was for 24 hours only.
Man Utd superstar striker, Wayne Rooney (@ 17 goals) is catching up to Arsenal's Robin Van Persie (@ 22 goals) as top Premier League goalscorer - as Manchester United ( 58 points) moves in on Manchester City (60 points) at the top of the table in the Premiership title race.
"It's a great feeling to score two goals against Liverpool at Old Trafford," said Rooney. "It obviously helped us win the game and get three points which is something that I had dreamed about as a young boy.
"I think Liverpool came to frustrate us by putting men behind the ball, they did that to a certain extent but we kept pushing and opened them up a couple of times.
"We maybe should have done better in front of goal so when we went in to half time at 0-0, we knew we had to concentrate and come out quickly. We managed to do that and get the two goals early on. It was a great lift for us. It killed the game off a little bit and we felt we were in control."
Liverpool's Luis Suarez grabbed a consolation in the last ten minutes remaining.
"They had a little bit more of possession but they didn't really trouble us to be honest," Rooney continued. "They hit a few long balls into the box which we dealt with quite well and thankfully we saw the game out.
"Anything can happen in these games. Once they got the goal we knew we had to see the game out and we retreated a little bit to get men behind the ball and try to hit them on the counter attack. Thankfully, we managed to see it out and get the three points."
Twenty-four year old Wayne Rooney was born October 24, 1985. Rooney competes for Manchester United in the Premier League and for the England National Team in World Cup soccer. Rooney is a forward at 5'10" and 172 pounds.

2011 Manchester Derby: Man Utd 1-6 Man City
In front of a sold-out stadium of fans from around the workd, Manchester City earned a shocking 6-1 defeat of their arch-rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011.
After a somewhat slow start, Man City took the lead after 22 minutes with a goal from 21-year old Italian Mario Balotelli. The midfielder marked the goal with humor by lifting his outer shirt to reveal another blue shirt saying, “Why Always Me?”
City was ahead 1-0 at half-time.

Mario Balotelli, Manchester City
Star of the match, Balotelli struck twice. Balotelli also won the free-kick which led to a red card for United defender Jonny Evans leaving United with only ten men. Two goals came from late sub Edin Dzeko. And Sergio Aguero and David Silva each added to the tally.
City boss, Roberto Mancini took off Balotelli with 20 minutes remaining and brought in Edin Dzeko.
City upped their tempo and struck three times after the 88th minute cementing their victory that lifted them five points ahead of United at the top of the Premier League table.
Darren Fletcher scored United’s only goal 10 minutes from time.
City delivered United’s first home defeat since April 2010 – and ended United’s run of 19 consecutive home league wins.
Sir Alex Ferguson said later that the stunning defeat to Manchester City was shocking to him.
United played the majority of the second half with ten men after the dismissal of Jonny Evans.
‘It was out worst ever day. It’s the worst result in my history, ever. Even as a player I don’t think I ever lost 6-1’.
‘I thought with the experience we’ve got – Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra – they would defend more but we just kept attacking. Sometimes there has to be common sense about it’.

Roberto Mancini, City manager, also commented after the match.
“This is only one game. I still think United are one yard above us, still,” said Mancini. “I think we can only change this after we win the title in the end.
“After, maybe it will be different, but now United are better than us.”
The 161st derby, a Premier League fixture, took place on 23 October 2011 at Old Trafford. City’s victory equalized the biggest win in the derby’s history, which City also won at Old Trafford in 1926.

Wayne Rooney and Nani Celebrate With Manchester United Team
Community Shield: Manchester City 2-3 Manchester United
FA Cup winners Manchester City lost to Manchester United in the recent Community Shield – Man City 2-3 Man Utd – at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, August 7th.
Manhester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson has never let slip a two-goal lead in his managerial career.
This match was also a Manchester Derby between the two Manchester superclubs. Trailing 2-0 at the break, United transformed and revitalized after a pep talk from Fergie.
United’s second half goals were scored by Chris Smalling (21) and a brace from Nani (24).
New goalkeeper, David De Gea suffered an ackward debut similar to his predecessors, Peter Schmeichel and Jaap Stam. Edwin van der Sar is a hard act to follow, however De Gea need more time to adjust to England football.
“This shows who the best team is,” exclaimed Man Utd striker, Wayne Rooney.
“All game we dominated. We never know when a game is finished. We took them apart. The scoreline is deserved. We’re champions and we’re the team to beat. We want to prove that.
“Of course [it is sweeter because it was a derby]. And obviously they are wanting to try and fight us for that title. But I think there was only one team that was going to win. We showed our character to come back.”
“Have to say, I think today was a footballing lesson. A great win for the champions.”
Sir Alex Ferguson's side had an average age of 22 after he withdrew Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Michael Carrick at the half.
“For us, I think it just confirms what I’ve thought,” said Fergie.
“People were saying that we’re not the best United squad, but you’ve got to remember we have a lot of young players, and they will improve.
“These boys are good players and the addition of Jones and De Gea gives us a good future. We are confident with this group of players.”

Wayne Rooney
Both Wayne Rooney and Sir Alex Ferguson Suffered Harsh Bans by the FA Last Season
Wayne Rooney was banned for two games for his rant into a TV camera while celebrating Man Utd’s victory at West Ham.
Sir Alex Ferguson was banned for five matches and fined £30,000 last season for criticising referee Martin Atkinson after United’s defeat at Chelsea, the latest in a long list of battles he has had with the FA through the years.
Sir Alex Ferguson has now turned the spotlight onto the FA, claiming there was an “unfair focus” on Manchester United.
The Man United boss cited ‘possible resentment about the club because of our success since the Premier League began’.
‘I think that has something to do with it really,’ said Ferguson.
‘It will always be there and I think we know that. I don’t really know whether it’s about me or the club. That’s a difficult one. They have certainly always found a way to treat us differently.
‘It has been happening for a while now and they always seem to find a way to do us when, with others, it’s seemingly forgotten.’
‘Personally, I felt hard-done-by last season but it’s always difficult and I’m not wanting to get involved with it, to be honest,’ said Ferguson.
‘It doesn’t bother me one bit. I defend my club and that’s my job. Part of the problem is that when I make comments, the media are on to the FA right away.
‘Then they feel forced to do something and they are afraid of what might happen if they don’t. There is no consistency in the disciplinary situation. We all know that.’
