Euro 2012 Qualifying Results

To date, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands have maximum points in UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying.

Fifty one teams began the journey to Poland and Ukraine last summer. Title holders and world champions Spain have maximum points along with Germany and the Netherlands. Russia and Norway have also made perfect starts. Montenegro had an impressive debut campaign.

Tickets will be sold in March for 31 matches, including the opening game in Warsaw on June 8th and the final on July 1 in Kyiv. Euro 2012 opening ceremony, and the semi-final match to be played at National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland. National Stadium can hold more then 50000 football fans. Russia to Host FIFA World Cup 2018

In a ceremony in San Petersburg after signing the statement, Putin said that he expects the participation of the staff members of FIFA in the creation of the Russian Organizing Committee for 2018 World Cup next February.

Putin added on Sunday that FIFA staff members should not only observe but participate directly in the arrangements of the future World Cup as well as the job the International Olympic Committee is doing for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

The Russian PM said that to host FIFA World Cup 2018 it will be built roads, railroads, stadiums and will be a development in the communications.

It also will promote a healthy lifestyle and the development of social infrastructure and transport in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Rostov, Volgograd, Samara, Sochi, Yaroslavl, and Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk.
