Liverpool Transfer Rumors : Luis Suaarez
Liverpool super star striker Luis Suarez reportedly plans to leave Anfield to be able to compete in the Champions League next season, but admits talks have not begun with Real Madrid regarding a reported £40m move to the Bernabeu.
Suarez hopes to leave The Reds this summer due to his harsh treatment by the FA and the English press including his 10 match match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
The 10-match ban Suarez received for biting Ivanovic in April, is the second such offence of his career. He will miss the the first six games of the 2013-14 campaign.
Real have reportedly agreed a deal worth £40m to sign Suarez.
"It's a good moment for a change of environment because of all I've been through," Suarez said. "I do not know when I'm going and I do not know if I'm staying."
"I have only words of thanks to the club, the fans of Liverpool, but the treatment I received from the rest of England in recent weeks has been tough.
"It is a spectacular club, but they are aware of the way that the press treats me."
"It is normal that it is impossible to say no to big teams for which one always dreams. Yet I have nothing, I have not spoken with Real Madrid nor with Liverpool.
"My agent has not told me anything either and that leaves me alone, but they [the media] are speculating.
"Every time you do something it becomes big. I just said I'm very happy at Liverpool and I'll be forever grateful to this great city and this club made me grow so much, where I still have a contract."
Suarez's most recent offense was in Liverpool's FA Cup win over Mansfield, led to accusations of cheating.

Liverpool Update : Luis Suarez
Liverpool's superstar striker Luis Suarez says it would be "difficult to say no" to a move to Real Madrid.
Suarez was the third highest scorer in the Premier League with 30 goals in 44 appearances for Liverpool last season
Twenty-six year old Suarez signed a long-term contract with Anfield last year, but, as well as scoring 30 goals this season, he was also handed a 10-game ban forbiting Branislav Ivanovic.
Suarez transfered to Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011 for £22.7m. Since joining the club, he has scored 51 in 96 appearances. He had scored 49 goals in 48 games for Ajax the season before joining Liverpool.
Suarez plays for Uruguay National Team and has scored a tally of 31 goals in 62 caps.
"I've talked to my agent, there's nothing concrete," said Suzrez about joining Real Madrid. "It would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid."
"There are a lot of rumors in the transfer period, but you never know until firm offers are made."
Suarez was banned for five matches after biting Chelsea's Ivanovic. Previously he received a ban for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
"I'm happy at Liverpool thanks to the fans. I have committed an error, I am human, but they've talked about me in ways they shouldn't have.
"My family have suffered and things have gone beyond the limits.
"I am tired of it. My daughter and my wife have suffered. I'm not prepared to continue suffering at the hands of the English journalists.
"I suffered a lot as a kid to get where I am just to be attacked unfairly by the English press. They haven't appreciated me as a player, they've just judged my attitude."
Earlier this year, Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre said, "We love Luis being at Liverpool, he loves being at Liverpool and we fully expect him to be at Liverpool next season."
Suarez is happy at Liverpool.
"There are a good few years left on my contract. I want to carry on enjoying myself because both my family and I feel really happy here."
