Italian Serie A Transfers - 2013 - 2014

One of the top goal-scorers in Europe last season, El Shaarawy helped Milan to a top-three finish with some fine early-season.

AC Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani has refused to confirm that young striker Stephan El Shaarawy will say at the club past the summer.

"El Shaarawy is the Milan player with the most requests," said Galliani. "He's not unsellable because everything can happen in the transfer market."

Meanwhile, Galliani has denied recent reports that the club are in talks with City star Carlos Tevez.

"There are no negotiations with Tevez," he added.

Galliani said Kevin-Prince Boateng has not requested a transfer, "Boateng did not ask to be sold."

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez expects to receive in excess of €30 million for 25-year-old Gonzalo Higuain - or "don't bother showing up."

Juve, the  current Italian champions are reportedly interested in hiring the striker with club officials reportedly preparing to offer a €22m bid.

Edison Cavani, Napoli

Edison Cavani

Reportedly Wenger has Edison Cavani in his sights.

Van Persie scored the opening goal against Arsenal giving Man United a 2-1 victory over The Gunners at Old Trafford last weekend.

It will take a generous offer to tempt Napoli to part with Cavani.

And Cavani has stated that he intends to sign a new five-year contract with Napoli.

This season, Cavani has earned six Napoli hat-tricks.

Cavani scored 12 goals in 12 games.

Cavani appears to be content at Napoli - and has targeted beating Argentina legend Maradona's 115 goal haul for the club.

"Maradona's goalscoring record? I am slowly closing the gap. I can reach his tally," said Cavani.

"It is always a good feeling to score, especially when you're a striker. Napoli are not Cavani-dependant, though. I scored four goals, but my team-mates gave me some great assists."

Cavani needs 36 more goals to equal Maradona, having scored a sensational 79 goals in 108 games since joining Napoli from Palermo in 2010.
