Popular Brazilian Oscar sealed Chelsea's place in the fifth round of the FA Cup, scoring the only goal of the game against Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.

Oscar delivered a brilliant freekick to see off Stoke.

"We played a very good game again. The 1-0 doesn't reflect the quality of our game and the dominance of our game," Mourinho said after the match.

"It's a bit of a contradiction because we played so well but we won with a free-kick. Normally when you play this well you win by scoring some amazing goals from open play. We had some fantastic play, individual choices, and very good collective movements against a team that is difficult.

"The freekick obviously makes us happy because Oscar dedicates some time every day after the normal training session to train on a specific thing. We hit the post twice, [Asmir] Begovic again showed how good he is. We had great shots, fantastic actions, great saves.

"The boys played very well but obviously in the last 10 minutes when we don't score the goal to kill the game everything is open with 1-0. They were direct and tried to put some pressure on us but we controlled the game from the first minute, and I'm happy not just with the victory but also the performance."

Olivier Giroud believes it is essential for strikers to be able to lay on assists for their team-mates as well as score goals.

France striker Oliver Giroud was interviewed ahead of Arsenal's upcoming mouth-watering clash with arch-rival, FC Liverpool.

According to Arsenal.com website, the Gunners have enjoyed a superb start to the season, and Giroud is fit and pleased with his four Premier League assists to date.

Giroud played a key role in Jack Wilshere’s stunning strike against Norwich and he says helping others to score brings him real satisfaction.

“It is a great thing because the goal was shown all over the world - I am proud of it,” Giroud told Arsenal Player," said Giroud. “It is a quality when you are a striker to not always be greedy and when you have a team-mate well placed on the pitch, in a good position, you have to assist him.

“Strikers are judged on their goals but we must also [provide] assists and that is what I try to do: help my team-mates," he continued. “It is easy to play with people like Jack, Mesut, Santi or Tomas - all my offensive team-mates. We have good relationships on the pitch and when we play one-touch football like [against Norwich], it is a pleasure.

“We try to do it in every game, and when we succeed it is fantastic.”

“I think technically I had it before, maybe I progressed because we have worked on it a lot in training,” he said.

“It is also [down to] confidence. I did well from the start of the season, I had good preparation with the team - instead of last season when I wasn’t here from the beginning - and I scored early in the pre-season games.

“I feel really confident, the boss made me feel good and that is why I feel good and try to improve every day. It is all about confidence I think.”

Suárez scored twice on his Premier League return following a 10-game ban for biting.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly believes the striker's partnership with Daniel Sturridge could is impressive and perhaps the best duo in the leaguet.

Sturridge, who scored Liverpool's opener in their 3-1 win at Sunderland, also created both of Suárez's goals and Rodgers was delighted.

"I'm not sure there's two better in the league," said Rodgers after the match. "These two can be the best in the country. The two of them looked very bright but they can only get better. Daniel is becoming much more of a team player. They are two very different players.
