Andy Carroll Update : Chelsea v West Ham United Tickets
West Ham’s star striker, Andy Carroll is hoping to make the cut for England’s World Cup 2014 squad. Carroll is the Hammers’ record £15million signing.
Carroll has nine England caps - the last was against San Marino in October 2012.
“Of course the World Cup is massive and everybody wants to be involved. It’s in my head that there’s still a chance for me to go to Brazil, and I’d be devastated if I missed out, to be honest.
“It was great to be away at the Euros, playing with the best players in Europe. Now I’ve got to work hard and I’ll have a chance of playing with the best in the world.
“That’s a great incentive for me to do as well as I possibly can for West Ham.”
Carroll is recently back from a foot injury – his comeback was accelerated by specialists in Antwerp, Belgium.
“For me, it’s been tough being out for so long, and it’s been disappointing for the team not doing so well.
“I just want to stay fit, as every player does. I’ve been plagued with injuries, but I’m just going to forget about that now. I’m not going to worry about injuries at all, play in the games and try to do well, create chances, score goals and get us well clear of the bottom.”
Carroll’s continued presence for West Ham could be essential for West Ham’s hopes of survival from Premiership relegation.
Carroll spent five years at Newcastle, scoring 33 goals in 91 appearances, before joining Liverpool for £35 million before transferring to West Ham.

Andy Carroll's @ FC Liverpool
Giants FC Liverpool will not loan 23-year old striker Andy Carroll - but will sell Carroll to the highest bidder in the region of £20m. Newly hired Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says all "worthwhile" offers will be considered.
Andrew Thomas "Andy" Carroll is an English striker who plays for Liverpool and the England national.
"To consider a loan for someone the club spent £35m on isn't something we're looking to do at this moment in time."
"Andy will be the same as every other player - if there's ever an offer that comes in we'd look at it as a club and see if it's going to be worthwhile for the club and the team as a whole.
"The club invested £35m in him. People talk about whether he can fit into my style or not, but if you're a club and you spend £35m on a player you'd like to think he can fit into whatever style the team plays.
"He's a good player. He'll join the rest of the group next week and we'll take it from there."
Pardew became Newcastle manager the month before Carroll's departure to Liverpool.
"I think it was obvious that as soon as Brendan went into Liverpool that Andy's time was going to have to be somewhere else," said Pardew.
"I think it's quite right we're involved in that. Whether he comes here, is something that I will take or I will leave.
Carroll is in the US with the rest of the Liverpool first-team on a pre-season tour.

Carroll has scored just 11 times in 54 appearances for the Reds since joining 18 months ago.
However, Rodgers has praised the striker, and dismissed suggestions he would be unable to fit into the style of play the Northern Irishman plans to bring to Liverpool.
"Andy is a terrific young player. I had a brief chat with all the lads and over the next couple of weeks I'll be able to speak to them with more confidence and on a one to one basis."
"There is no doubt he is a terrific talent. There has been a lot of unfair criticism aimed towards Andy.
"He is a player who can play in a number of styles and it was a wee bit unfair on him (for people) to say he couldn't fit into the way I would want to play."
Rodgers continued: "For me, your game is based on your players, the players you have. I am here to win games.
"We've got a number of very, very talented players in the group, of which Andy is one."

Andy Carroll's Car Torched
The blaze wrecked the £150,000 customized Range Rover outside Newcastle United captain Kevin Nolan’s home. The fire was so fierce it burnt off the paint and bent the alloy wheels.
Carroll, 22, had purchased the car to celebrate signing a £30,000-a-week deal with Newcastle
He moved to Liverpool in the winter transfer window for a British record of £35million.
Andy Carroll was sent to live with his club captain, Kevin Nolan, in an attempt to keep him out of trouble off the pitch.
He and Nolan looked out the window to see Carroll's new luxury Range Rover go up in flames. The chrome-plated car, bought after Carroll recently signed a lucrative new five-year contract with the Premier League club, was badly damaged.
